There has never been a more TGIF than this week!- although I guess it really doesnt matter what day of the week it is... because we work round the clock every day BUT......

Happy Wednesday NIGHT pearls!

It’s been a wonderful week at the Happy Clam office. We have been busy little worker bees.. it is what I presume Santa’s workshop to be like in the North Pole if there was a local one here in Wilmington J

 

 

 

As all of you know, the holiday cutoff was last night at midnight, I hope some of you or all of you got to get some goodies with the last minute flash sale! Due to technical difficulties, we extended the sale for one more day, and also because you all are such great customers..but in all seriousness, thank you for your patience with us as we figure this whole website thing out..it’s hard stuff!

 

 

And now to the holiday décor!!! Oh how I love decorating for the holidays, and it is in full effect in the Happy Clam home!  I’m still dressing out of a Tupperware bin but atleast my Christmas decorations are up! Priorities, priorities!

 

We put up the tree over the weekend, hung the stockings on the mantle, and the wreath on the door. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Really, the only reason why we decorated is because we were having a few of our closest friends over for an Oyster Roast!  Hats off to our friends Becky and Alex, who came over for the Oyster Roast we were hosting with all of the appetizers for everyone to eat and then set it up too.. So thanks to the V's (the new married couple) for pratically hosting our Oyster Roast for us, if it wasn’t for the two of you we would have had oysters, beer and wine and well umm that’s about it. Oh wait, there were Bon Bons, from SouthN France, the most adorable and delectable little bon-bon shop downtown. Emphasis on WERE, our friend Carolyn really took a liking to the little French treat. ;)

 IT was so great to have all of our friends over to our new home, especially since our decorations were up and the house looked pretty amazing if I could say so myself!

 It is a very exciting holiday this year, it will be little Mason’s third Christmas with us! Woo how the time flies..doesn’t it?!   Oh my with that said, I just realized I have an order to finish for overnight ship! Back at it again! Who needs sleep?!

Hey there my fellow pearls!

Gosh it feels good that it’s a Friday doesn’t it?

We have been super busy this week at Happy Clam. The Christmas orders keep piling in and we are working on overdrive to get everything finished and shipped out! We love it though. The busier we are, the more creative we are, the more creative we are, the more new products we will be able to invent! What did y’all think about the earrings? We just love them and have had great feedback from our customers! We also have been working away at the website…you must take a look to see the changes that we have made.. It is still a work in progress.. but we are getting there!

We have been so busy working that I am trying to figure out what other fun and exciting news I have to share with all of you... 

Oh my word?!   How could I have forgotten?! Today is puppy Banks’s 1^st birthday!!! Happy Birthday to our sweet boy Banks! I could not have imagined this past year without him. He adds so much life and excitement to the household! It’s crazy to think how far he has come in just a year. Just a few short months ago he was attacked by another dog at doggy day care. He had to undergo surgery on his hip and go through a crazy amount of recovery and physical therapy these past few months. I never thought he would be the same little Banks again but he has made it through with flying colors, he is still going to physical therapy 2 days a week but deserves a pretty large shout out for being so resilient and bouncing back to almost the same puppy he was before! So Banks this post is for YOU!!!

Happy as a CLAM on a Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday Happy Clammers!

Well Thanksgiving weekend has come and gone and our jeans are fitting a little snugger after all the holiday eating.. I figure that’s what the holidays are for. Right?!

It was a bit strange this year not cooking, cleaning and traveling of course! We had a nice quiet turkey day- My in laws came in town and my what a big help they were with everything! From hanging blinds, unpacking boxes, and of course keeping an eye on Mason- the most important job of all!

We had lunch at the club, took a golf cart ride, and then came home with MAJOR food comas!

On to Happy Clam news, the trunk show at Monkee’s this past weekend was a huge success! We were so happy to meet new customers and catch up with some from our last show. I just have to say there are some REALLY good gift givers out there! We also had a great response to our new stud earrings! They are the perfect gift and add that little bit of preppy flair to any outfit :)

We also heard from several of our stores and we are so thrilled that they had great Happy Clam weekends too. We are going to be busy like little bee’s working to get all the orders finished, sealed and shipped! Oh but we are excited! One thing I really love about doing these trunk shows is working with my customers and getting to see their creative ideas come to life. I am doing so many more orders that I had never thought about  doing only because they hadn’t crossed my mind yet! Being able to collaborate to make a piece that really reflects the creativity of someone else and being able to bring that to life for them is just the most exhilarating feeling... I believe it would be just like that feeling you get when you are about to take your first jump from the plane on a skydive trip. Yes, just like that, but I also have never been skydiving so I hope you all will just take my word for it that it definitely feels like that!  

And a little monogram painting treat of Mrs. Happy Clam herself hand painting monograms for a special customer the night before the trunk show! Mr. Happy Clam caught her in action! (Compliments of Alex, our Creative Director!)

Sorry we've been SO MIA!! I have about 10 posts that were half started and never finished from the last few weeks! It has been utter chaos over here at Happy Clam Monogram! We moved into our new house and office space about a week ago and have been super busy gearing up for this holiday season with adding new retailers everyday. 11 Stores & counting!

 

The Jewelry Collection has really taken off and we are coming up with new designs everyday!

Happy Birthday MR Happy Clam!

This past year has been absolutely crazy for the Happy Clam household! 

 

 I just wanted to pause and wish my MR a Happy Birthday! 

 

Not every day is perfect, but thats what makes us grow and these past 8 years have been the best 8 years of my life. I have watched my best friend grow in so many ways, and I am SO proud of the man he's become!

 

I was going through old pics and pulled a few of my favorites! I tried to pick ones that really capture what a truly amazing man I have the priveledge of being married to! ( and all of his OH SO amazing qualities!)

Watching him with Mason just melts my heart, he loves to show him new things and to take him places he spent time as a child.

 

 

He LOVES to try new recipes! This was New Years Eve 2011, we made Beef Wellington and it could not have been more perfect! He always says the only woman he would even leave me for is Paula Deen!

 

He puts up with my tendency to OVER PACK! and my long list of faults... and does so with a HUGE SMILE on his face :)

 

I just put this in there because I just LOVE it! This was taken in the hospital when Mason was born.  

 

 

He is a big kid at heart!
