Happy Clam Monogram came from a conversation with my sister, after a few cocktails of course :) while taking in the coastal breezes we were brainstorming! We wanted something that rhymed with monogram!? And we were just "happy as a clam" to be spending some qt together! So then it hit us - "Happy Clam Monogram!" and it just kinda stuck!
This blog is going to be my outlet and more about our day to day life and of course a bit about the business! Allow me to give you a bit of background info- My name is Jenny Burnett! I live in beautiful Wilmington, NC with my husband Michael, my almost 2 year old son, Mason, and my 8 month old King Charles Cavalier puppy, Banks! I recently became a stay at home mom and words cannot describe how much I love it! Don't get me wrong it has it's ups and downs but I have seen such a difference in the past 2 months being home with Mason and I am so proud to be his mommy!

Our little lives have been turned completely upside down, backwards, u name it it's been utter chaos. My husbands job relocated us here from Charlotte, NC and we packed up, sold our house, found a new one to rent for now, I quit my sales job, started a business, joined several local organizations, found a preschool for M, and in just 2 months we feel more at home here in Wilmington than we ever did in Charlotte! I think mainly because we plan on being here For the long haul! And we couldn't be happier about it!
We are getting settled and meeting tons of new friends and of course taking full advantage of living near the beach! We lived in Charleston, SC when we graduated from ECU for about a year but for some reason we never really went to the beach.... Hmmm o I know why- it's all King St's fault! I have to admit I am a bit of a shopaholic! I love shoes, and handbags, and of course accessories, and dresses!! Who am I kidding I love everything! But having Mason changed a lot of that for me, and now I love to spoil him! He has a better wardrobe than the Mr! ;)
Anyway, I feel like I'm rambling, but to sum up where we are, I am knee deep in this new business and my website is being designed as we speak by my amazing designer Dan James with Seaside Web Solutions , I am waiting on my last order of samples, I have a garage and a shed full of furniture that needs to find a home stat!
